Dr. Jenny Tai
Periodontist and Cosmetic Dentistry Specialist
Dr. Jenny Tai is an accomplished dentist with unique expertise, having completed a rigorous four-year, dual-specialty program at the University of Pennsylvania where she earned her periodontal prosthesis certificate. This extensive training makes her proficient in cosmetic, restorative, periodontic, and implant dentistry—one of the few dentists in Texas with such comprehensive credentials.
Her commitment to education earned her the “Best Teacher” title from the Department of Periodontics at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Tai continues contributing to the field through her work with the graduate prosthodontics program at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry, where she served as clinical adjunct professor.
Dr. Ted Ling
Periodontist and Dental Implant Surgeon
Dr. Ling co-founded Murphy Dental and Implant Center alongside Dr. Tai and Dr. Chan, serving as a Board-certified periodontist and implant surgeon. Renowned for compassionate care and expert skills, his journey intertwines with Dr. Tai’s since dental school. Both pursued advanced training at the University of Pennsylvania, where Dr. Ling earned his Certificate in Periodontics and received the Director’s Award for exceptional clinical performance and dedication to patient care. His certifications from the American Board of Periodontology represent the highest standard in periodontal and dental implant surgery.
Following graduation from residency, Dr. Ling served as adjunct assistant professor at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry. He mentored post-graduate residents in planning and executing dental implant surgeries, sharing knowledge and advancing the field.
Dr. Erica Chan
General and Cosmetic Dentistry
Dr. Erica Chan graduated from the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior as a distinguished Regents Scholarship recipient. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Midwestern University, Illinois, graduating at the top of her class.
After practicing in Indiana, Dr. Chan relocated to North Dallas with her family. Renowned for excellent clinical skills and compassionate care, she prioritizes effective communication and patient education to achieve superior outcomes. As a general dentist, she maintains keen interest in clear aligner treatments and digital dentistry, constantly updating her knowledge through continuing education. Outside the office, Dr. Chan is an avid traveler who has explored 17 countries and counting with her family.
